Quiet wardrobes,
considered cuts.
Linea is a Copenhagen womenswear studio making a small number of garments, slowly, in natural fibres. Objects for an unhurried wardrobe — studied, undone, quiet on the body.
The Transition Edit.
Six pieces, quietly essential. Undyed wool, heavy linen, ribbed lambswool — the small architecture of a wardrobe that travels gently from late summer into the first cold week.
“We draft each pattern for the body at rest. A dropped shoulder that is not a statement, a hem that finishes itself — the garment recedes, and the woman remains.”
100% natural — undyed merino, heavyweight linen, organic cotton, Mongolian lambswool.
Porto, Vilnius and Kyoto. Small ateliers, slow batches, family-held workshops.
Four thousand three hundred and twenty. The number of pieces Linea will cut this year — not one more. We make what can be made well, and stop there.

Considered answers.
Every Linea garment ships with two complimentary alterations — hem, sleeve or waist — in our Nørrebro atelier or by post through our partners in Berlin, Paris and London.
We work almost entirely in undyed naturals, with a single terracotta accent drawn from the clay of Bornholm. No seasonal colour, no mid-season drops — the palette stays the palette.
Air them. Shake them out. Cold hand-wash twice a season in a wool-safe soap and dry flat. Undyed merino softens with time; we'd ask you to let it.
Rarely. Essentials 01 is cut in a single run of 4,320 garments. When a size is gone, a waiting list opens for the next study, which may reinterpret the piece.
Letters & studies.
A short meditation on the slow wardrobe — why fewer garments, carefully chosen, compound in quiet ways over a lifetime.
We visit a third-generation mill near Vilnius to understand the honest geometry of a linen thread, and the patience it keeps.
Volume, proportion, an unfinished hem — the quiet rules that shape the Linea line, drawn in a back room in Nørrebro.
Twelve rooms.
Linea is carried in a small circle of rooms we love. For private appointments, write to the studio directly.
Quiet correspondence, once a month.
A short letter, when there is something to say. New studies, open ateliers, small dinners in Copenhagen. Never more than one a month.
